Chelsea youngster Wallace will meet with new manager Jose Mourinho to discuss his future, with the right-back set to officially begin life as a Chelsea player on July 1.
Wallace, 19, signed a five-year contract with Chelsea in January, but spent six more months on loan with his Brazilian side as they challenged for honours on two fronts in the early months of 2013.
Now, though, with Chelsea having recently appointed Portuguese boss Mourinho as manager, the player’s agent Frederico Mathias Moraes has told Transfer Market Web that they will arrange a meeting to discuss his future in the coming days.
Moraes told reporters: “Now he’s on vacation, with his last season with Fluminense over, and he’s eager to land to London. We’ll have to talk to José Mourinho in order to know more about his future.
“I talked to AS Roma team manager, Walter Sabatini, in the past, as well as with Inter, Napoli and Udinese. Then Wallace chose Chelsea”
Should he not be required as part of the Blues’ first-team setup, it is likely that he will be loaned out, with clubs in Portugal and Netherlands rumoured destinations for the 2013-14 campaign.
